Deadline: Formatting begins on 1 March 2018.

Brain to Books presents our second anthology “Book Dreams Volume #2” to release on 6 April 2018.

Submit a poem, a “chicken Soup for the Soul” styled article, or a short story: 10,000 words or less.

Topic: Anything you want. It’s all for the love of story.
Theme: We are building this anthology to celebrate story. Compose whatever you want.
Genre: Any and all! Stories will be paired off in sections sorted by genre.

Rating: No rating.

The stories received will be edited, published, and will appear in the second volume of the Brain to Books Anthology series: Book Dreams, released in eBook and Paperback format 6 April 2018. Proceeds will go to Brain to Books to cover the cost of editing and book covers and to keep Brain to Books up and running. Brain to Books will market and promote you and your work year round alongside the anthology.

We release on 6 April 2018. Get your short story to us as soon as possible.

Can I start writing early? Yes!

Can it be previously published? Yes!

Can it be a series? Yes!

It can not be published anywhere else while it is published with Brain to Books. You must own the rights.

It’s all for the love of story. Compose whatever you want. Genre? Any and all! Stories will be paired off in sections sorted by genre. The stories received will be edited, published, and will appear in the first Brain to Books Anthology, released in eBook and Paperback format 7 April 2017. Proceeds will go to Brain to Books to cover the cost of editing and book covers and to keep Brain to Books up and running. Authors will receive a special spotlight on braintobooks.com, B2BCyCon.com, and angelabchrysler.com. Brain to Books will market and promote you year round alongside the anthology.

When submitting an anthology submission to Angela, please use Subject Line: “B2BCYCON ANTHOLOGY”

  1. .DOC or .DOCX format only. DO NOT SEND PDF.
  2. Specify Word Count
  3. Specify Genre
  4. No rating limitation.
  5. Absolutely no material supporting terrorism, organized religion, violence, or pedophilia.
  6. Specify the rating with G, PG, PG13, or R and explain why if PG13 or R. If we receive a large enough submissions, Brain to Books will release an anthology each for adults, teens, and YA.
  7. Single space only.
  8. .2 margin indent only. Do not use tabs to indent.
  9. Dedications and Acknowledgements are welcome.
  10. You will be asked for an Author Page. We will need your author bio written only in 3rd person and a URL link to your website.

The Fine Print
Participation in any and all Brain to Books events does not guarantee a change in sales. While some authors have reported an increase in sales, this is not something we guarantee. While readers do attend the Brain to Books Cyber Convention and Book Expo, Brain to Books should be viewed as a networking/marketing event to boost your visibility and strengthen your relationship within the publishing community. Any increase in sales you may see as a result of Brain to Books is to be viewed as a bonus for participation. If you do see an increase in sales due to the Brain to Books Cyber Convention and Book Expo, feel free to share your results with us.
